 Product Description

Calcium Hydroxide is a white, odorless, free-flowing powder or colorless crystalline solid. It is slightly soluble in water (1.7–1.85 g/L at 20°C), forming a strongly alkaline solution (pH ~12.4–12.6). The compound is non-flammable but highly alkaline and can cause chemical burns on contact with skin or eyes. It is insoluble in alcohol, but soluble in acids, glycerol, and certain sugars. Calcium Hydroxide is non-corrosive to most construction materials but can attack some metals like aluminum under certain conditions.
