Triethylene Glycol (TEG)

Triethylene Glycol (TEG) is a clear, colorless, odorless, and moderately viscous liquid with a mild, slightly sweet taste. It is highly hygroscopic and completely miscible with water and many organic solvents, but immiscible with benzene, toluene, and gasoline. TEG is non-corrosive and does not exhibit alkaline properties. With a high boiling point and low volatility, it is stable under normal conditions and valued for its excellent solvent, humectant, and dehydrating properties.
