Product Description
Xylene is a clear, colorless, flammable liquid with a characteristic sweet aromatic odor. It is slightly greasy to the touch and is highly volatile, evaporating quickly at room temperature. Xylene is insoluble in water but miscible with most organic solvents such as ethanol, ether, acetone, and benzene. It is non-corrosive, non-alkaline, and chemically stable under normal storage conditions. Its medium evaporation rate, high solvency power, and blush resistance make it an excellent choice for industrial applications, especially where water sensitivity is a concern.
